People's Partnering to Bring Food Stamps Access to Kalamazoo Farmers' Market

Starting May 3, recipients of government food assistance in the form of Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT), also known as the Bridge Card, will be able to use their cards at the Kalamazoo Farmers Market. Interested cardholders will come to the People's Food Co-op booth, swipe their card and receive tokens which can be used to purchase produce and other foods at participating vendors. This is made possible through funding from Kalamazoo Rotary, and through a partnership with Fair Food Matters.
