We're celebrating bicycling and local food on Wednesday, August 10, 3-7pm!
Join the "Bike the Zoo" ride starting at 3pm at Woodward Elementary School (606 Stuart Ave) for a slow ride to the Co-op's 100-Mile Market. There you'll find local market vendors all from within 100 miles and Buy 1 Get 1 Free popsicles.
Ride your bike, sign up for Bicycle Benefits, and $2 in Market Bucks, plus discounts inside the PFC.
All are welcome, no bicycle required!
Bust the summer boredom and cook with your kids! Not only are kids are less picky eaters when they have a hand in making their food, but being able to cook increases their self-confidence and takes some work off your plate.
In this class, kids will learn to cook simple dishes as well as basic kitchen skills like using a sharp knife, measuring ingredients, reading a recipe, and using the stove/oven. All ages are welcome. Tuesday, August 9, 6:30-8pm.
We do our best to bring you reasonably priced, high quality, nutritious and healthy food. To that end, we offer regular sales and special programs to help you eat well, even on a tight budget.
How was your experience at the Co-op? Did you find everything on your list? Were our staff members helpful? We would love to hear your comments - positive or negative.
