Fresh & Frozen Holiday Turkeys!

WHAT: Each year during the holiday season, we work hard to source the best turkeys possible for your family feasts! This year, we're offering both fresh and frozen turkeys. Fresh turkeys are available via pre-order, and frozen turkeys are available in the store today. Fresh turkey orders are due by November 17. Please call or see a cashier to pre-order your turkey. Availability is limited, so order soon!
  • Pre-order our fresh local turkeys, farm-raised in the Amish tradition by Henry at Old Home Place in La Grange, IN. His birds are fed only non-GMO feed, roam freely on the farm, and are only $3.29/lb! Fresh turkeys require a $20 nonrefundable deposit.
  • Our frozen turkeys come from Plainville Farms in New York. These birds are antibiotic-free and perfect for travelling to your holiday feast destination! Pick one up in the store for $2.49/lb today!

Kalamazoo Farmers' Market!

WHEN: Saturdays (May – November), 7am-2pm | Tuesdays and Thursdays, (June - October), 7am-2pm

WHAT: People's Food Co-op is proud to manage the Kalamazoo Farmers' Market! Our purpose is to connect consumers directly to food sources through honest relationships and to support local food businesses through a vibrant market culture.

PFC Board Meeting

WHEN: Monday, November 3 from 7:00pm until 9:00pm 


WHERE: 525 E. Kalamazoo Ave, our office building


WHAT: Join our Board of Directors and participate in the governance of your Co-op! 

The PFC Board will not be meeting in September because of the holiday. We'll resume regular meetings in October.

The Board normally meets the first Monday of each month. Our meetings are open to the public and all owners and community members are encouraged to attend. For more information visit the Board of Directors page.


Values Cooking Class: Cooking on a Budget!

WHAT: Join Lindsey Merkel  to create a delicious, heathful meal for a family of four for under $10! This class is a part of our Values Classes series, and includes tips for shopping on a budget, recipes, and a store tour.  


Come hungry! In our cooking classes, you always eat well. The class is $5 per adult; kids 12-17 come free with adult! Space is limited, so please sign up today with a friendly PFC cashier.


Volunteer Orientation
