Run for the Co-op Board

WHEN: Applications and statements of candidacy due by Monday, May 2

WHERE: People's Food Co-op
507 Harrison Street, Kalamazoo, MI 49007

WHAT: Our annual board director elections are coming up, and we're looking for candidates interested in running for the board!

Each year, the PFC ownership elects three Co-op Owners to the board of directors. We believe that more candidates in our board elections leads to broader, stronger, and more diverse leadership.

Each board candidate must be an Owner of PFC and needs to submit a Board Candidate Application and statement of candidacy. Applications and statements of candidacy must be returned to general manager Chris Dilley by Monday, May 2, 2016.

If you'd like to talk more about board participation or if you have questions, please feel free to contact board vice-president Chris Moore or board president Jo Ann Mundy. You are also welcome to attend any of our board meetings to observe and participate. Those take place on the first Mondays of each month, 7-9pm, at 525 E. Kalamazoo Ave.

This year we will also offer a meeting with all of our candidates on April 4 at 6pm at 525 E. Kalamazoo Avenue, where we will explain board roles and responsibilities and answer questions. Board elections will take place at our annual meeting on June 16, 2016.
